Youth Advocacy, Outreach and Development Programs
The Youth Advocacy, Outreach and Development Program provides wide-ranging support to young people in the Perth Metro area. This includes but is not limited to:
- Providing opportunities to further individual goals, life skills and career development
- School engagement and support
- Access and links to sporting clubs
- Well being support and positive mental health promotion – assistance with linking to external services. Example: Crisis Support
Our Youth Advocate attends all ERCWA Youth programs regularly, building relationships and linking with other agencies to effectively address the needs and issues confronting the many young people who participate in our sports, arts, and leadership programs. This collaboration allows for the provision of more efficient and relevant support, removing barriers of transport and meeting young people where they are at.
